Convert WebP to PNG on this device
Some editors, printers, and older apps still want a PNG. This page turns a WebP into a PNG in your browser and keeps a clear background when there is one. Nothing is uploaded.

When to convert WebP to PNG
Use this when the job is a bitmap with transparency or a lossless-style copy for editing — not when you needed a file that every email client can open. For that, WebP to JPG is the right page. JPG will fill transparent pixels with white. PNG will not.
WebP is fine on the web. It is still a nuisance in some desktop software and a few CMS fields that only list PNG. Convert a copy. Keep the WebP on the live site if that is where it already lives.
Quality does not apply. PNG is lossless at this step, so the file is often larger than the WebP. That is expected. After you edit, export WebP or JPG again rather than shipping the large PNG.
Batch drop is supported. Download each PNG or a zip. Files stay on this device. There is no account and no watermark. If you also need a different size, resize after, or convert PNG to JPG when the PNG is too heavy to send.
This does not add transparency that was not in the WebP. A photo saved as WebP stays opaque as a PNG. For SVG logos, use SVG to PNG.
How to do it
- Drop one or more .webp files. They stay on this device.
- Leave output on PNG. Quality does not apply.
- Download the PNG, or a zip of the batch.
Tips
- If you needed compatibility, not transparency, use WebP to JPG instead.
- A photographic WebP becomes a large PNG. That is normal.
- You can convert several files at once.
