# Make a favicon pack from one image

> Make favicon.ico, apple-touch-icon, and PNG icons from one image in your browser. Always free. 100% private.

Drop a logo. Download an ICO, PNG sizes, and an apple-touch-icon, plus a snippet to paste in your HTML. The file never leaves this device.

Online Image Converter. Language: English. https://onlineimageconverter.net/favicon

## How to start

1. Drop one PNG, JPG, SVG, or WebP. It stays on this device.
2. Leave PNG transparent, or pick a flat colour. ICO uses white or that colour.
3. Build the pack, copy the HTML snippet, download the zip.

## Notes

- A square logo looks sharpest. Wide wordmarks get padding on the sides.
- Do not ship a 4000px photo as a favicon. Start from a simple mark.
- ICO is 16 and 32 PNG frames packed together. Modern browsers also use the PNG links.

## Price

Always free. There is no account, no paid tier, and no watermark.

## What this site does not do

- There is no upload API, no account, and no paid tier. Photos are not sent to or stored by the site.
- Output formats are JPG, PNG, WebP, and still GIF. SVG can be opened as an input and saved as PNG with transparency.
- HEIC and HEIF can be opened in current Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. A local decoder runs in the tab when the browser cannot decode HEIC itself. AVIF stills can be opened in current browsers.
- There is no convert-to-HEIC. Animated AVIF is not supported. GIF output is a still picture. An animated GIF becomes one frame.
- This site does not make PDFs. For converting images into a PDF, use JPG to PDF on [❤️ LoveThisPDF](https://lovethispdf.com/tools/jpg-to-pdf), which also runs in the browser.
- It does not add Content Credentials (C2PA). It can strip them on Remove EXIF & GPS.
- Converting JPG to PNG keeps the picture opaque. Remove background can clear one flat colour.

## Requirements

Any phone, tablet, or computer with a browser. Nothing to install. HEIC and AVIF convert in current Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. A decoder runs in this tab when the browser cannot open HEIC itself. Very old browsers may still need a JPG from the iPhone. Very large images may fail if the device runs out of memory. Results can differ between browsers because encoders (especially WebP and JPEG quality) are implemented by the browser vendor.
